Violet, Age 6

Infants

We know this is the hardest decision a parent has to make... to trust someone else to care for their baby. At Kidstop, we love and nurture your baby as you would you. We don’t want you for a second to ever worry about your baby, so it is our promise to you that we will hug, kiss, cuddle, laugh with, smile at and love your child as if they were our own.

Your baby’s day will be filled with floor time, tummy time, music and movement, stories and lets not forget those ever- so -important hugs!

A childcare diary is provided for each family to help keep track of your baby’s day. This includes feedings, changes, naps and all the little funny things that you know your baby is sure to do in our care.

Infant/Waddlers:

As your child starts to walk, talk and become a little person all their own, we are here to guide them along. It is our goal to support these changes and help your child develop their basic early childhood skills, such as: fine and gross motor, sensory stimulation, language and social interaction.

Your child will begin to talk and be understood, play with other children, foster their natural curiosity and make new discoveries, all while being loved and cared for by one of our childcare professionals.

Toddlers 1 & 2

As toddlers grow and start to exert their “I do it myself” mentality, our teachers are there to promote independence and encourage self sufficiency.

Your child will explore new activities and work on mastering their emerging skills as they engage in music, movement and play. We promote using their imaginations and making new friends.

We believe that lots of physical activity, sensory play and socialization make for well rounded and more importantly, happy toddlers!

Preschool

We encourage every child to make their own choices and to try new things. This is where they begin to learn accountability and how the world around them works.

Through our Creative Curriculum, we introduce the concepts of numbers and letters. Problem solving, cooperation and respect. We help them form friendships and support their new found autonomy.

Our goal for our preschoolers is to challenge their inquiring minds and teach them the importance or being a true friend and an independent thinker.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare our children to enter Kindergarten. Pre-K is the stepping stone to your child’s journey into formal education. Our goal is to reinforce and teach all the concepts necessary to aid your child in a successful, smooth transition to the “Big School”.  

Our Pre-k focus is on Early Literacy, Introductory Mathematics, Language Arts and Creative Expression. Our classroom reflects an environment conducive to early learners and offers your child an opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace. With hands on encouragement in both small and large groups as well as a variety of social settings.

Kindergarten

We believe that the Kindergarten experience is one of the most vital years in the educational process. We want your child to develop a sense of belonging and security in our classroom.  

They will learn to question, evaluate, compare, reason and problem solve. As well as, build a strong educational foundation made up of Language Arts, Mathematics, Fine Motor, Gross Motor,  Social Studies, Science and Social Skills. They will be taught to accept limits and begin to establish themselves independently. Your child will learn the ability to respect, work cooperatively with others, listen and follow directions, resolve conflicts peacefully and create a positive self image.

Our main objective of Kidstop Kindergarten is to promote smart, independent, inquisitive and prepared students to first grade.
